I also liked “The First Witch of Boston,” by Andrea Catalano. And Kate Quinn has some good historical fiction.

My kind? What is YOUR kind? Which candidates do YOU support, specifically? Can you give any names?

It’s really easy to complain and cast blame. It’s a lot harder to make change happen.

I think Kamala could be a good candidate, if she condemns the genocide in Gaza.

And electability does matter. Candidates have to, you know, get ELECTED to have a shot at making changes.

JFC, you’re like an energy vampire! All doom and gloom. No hope. No action. Just complaints.

Cool, start cultivating those candidates for the primaries, then. Walk the talk. Take action.

Don’t just denigrate the “establishment” on Bluesky and expect to effect change.

No, I’ll vote for the best candidate who can win. I would be delighted to vote old, rich, white men out of power on both sides of the aisle.

But where are the leftist candidates? People can’t vote for them if they’re not visible. That’s 1 more reason why we need to get dark money out of elections.

Anyone who sat out the last election to protest “establishment” Dems and every single person who voted for Trump bears some responsibility for this nightmare.

And our society with a multi-tiered justice system protecting the rich and powerful while punishing the poor and people of color has failed.

OK. And you conveniently don’t have to do ANY work at all! How nice for you to expect everyone else to solve your problems.

Tell us which candidates you’re excited to support! Enough with the fucking endless negativity and self-pity.

Who do YOU want elected? All I see is a lot of complaining and no actionable suggestions.

Stop whining about establishment Dems and do something useful. Recruit and support a leftist candidate who you believe can win.

Oh, but that’s hard, right? And the “establishment” is against you. Boo hoo.

Still no suggestion on a viable candidate. And do re-read my statement about a multi-tiered justice system that is rigged to protect the rich and powerful.

Weird and twisted logic to blame Democrats for electing Trump, since they quite literally did not vote for him.

How about blaming the rich and powerful elites from ALL parties who care only about amassing more wealth and power? That would be a GREAT place to start.

It’s not the SURVIVORS’ responsibility to topple this corrupt and criminal regime! They don’t owe us anything.

Instead, look at ALL the rich and powerful men and women who knew exactly what kind of monster Epstein was and associated with him anyway, b/c he was useful to them. Why don’t they talk?

There are Democrats who desperately want to hold EVERYONE who associated with Epstein accountable, as do I.

I also know that a multi-tiered justice system exists that rarely punishes the rich and powerful.

How do YOU suggest I vote? Won’t vote for a candidate who doesn’t have a shot at winning.

My position is this: Israel’s regime is committing war crimes and human rights atrocities in Gaza.

I still don’t regret my vote for Harris. And I will still vote for whoever wins the Dem nomination in the general election. I would very much like to have a Dem candidate who’s not a rich, white man.

Biden was wrong to support Israel against Gaza. The genocide is horrific and heartbreaking.

Even if Harris wouldn’t change course, she would have been a better president than what we have now.

You also won’t hold the pedo party accountable by voting third party or sitting out the election. Go recruit candidates you CAN support and fundraise for them! Campaign for them!

Or, you know, just sit at your keyboard and complain.

Who says it can’t be set up that way? I’m not saying we should go forward with any existing two-state proposal.

Why can’t there be a hopeful and expansive vision?

Yet people still say they can’t commit to supporting whoever wins the Democratic nomination in the general election.

Anyone who just didn’t vote or refused to vote Dem because of a single issue is complicit in this current regime.

Yes, the Democratic party has problems. Still better than the GOP.

How is it that every single troll I have encountered today identifies as queer or trans in their bio? Something doesn’t add up.

The queer and trans people I know in my life are all delightful, not angry, bitter antagonists.
