It is the most excellent of fortune circumstances to live in such a beautiful state and have beautiful friends who love to go on walks & talks with you.

Can’t remember where I heard it, but someone once said, “I gave up my buckets of f*cks in exchange for a change purse of f*cks.” Stole that.

At 59, I no longer have shame around my age and weight. Why make it shameful if we are not the “ideal”? Frankly, it seems like a toxic-style form of control.

That made me laugh. A toast to those islands of sanity.

That’s exactly how I feel about it. Those moments are everything, especially when times are hard.

I feel this. At this point of a flailing process, I often call myself “a pair of hands” for the client. It wears down the soul. My garden is a refuge as well.

Thank you to those who commented. 😊 I showed my brother the post. He does not do social media, so even though I think he thinks I am being silly, I could tell he was touched. I hope he does more art since his job sucks. Art feeds the soul.
