KDE Plasma is my favorite DE among Linux, provided you have a decent computer to run it smoothly. Very customizable and looks great.

I'm glad to hear your progress. Working out really is a habit you gotta make. The first 10-15 minutes always suck, but is quite fun and invigorating for the rest of it. Also you feel good for the rest of the day and the next morning!

If I don't workout for a week or two, I get legit depressed.
