This collection of foreign bodies removed from the oesophagus was donated to the museum in 1928.

A welcome new publication yesterday for those teaching medical humanities in UK medical schools, asking some key questions. Using visual body histories with medical students at Exeter and Plymouth (both recognised as innovators in the field) has been by far my most radical and rewarding teaching.
