I've had a few characters that would fit this theme, but I think honestly I've been playing around with Legato for a while and I think he's the one I'd choose. Upright, or in one of his 'good moods' Legato is open to new experiences, he's naturally curious (elves are cats, it's science) 🧵

For me, I think it's a combination of, as I am demi and you talk about him, suddenly my defenses get a little bypassed.

Plus, I'm getting closer to his age. It's like I finally get out of the closet and was like "When did dads become hot?" 🤣

The artwork is also just fantastic, as always.

Myself as well. Humans are always doing pattern recognition, and I think Tarot actually is a pretty clear set of tropes or archetypes, I think.

If Fate exists, I live for the day I can punch them in the face. I value belief, not faith, and that's... complicated.

But very fun to explore.

Man is at the same time seemingly literaly blessed by destiny and the best hope to get his world back on a better track while also sometimes acting horribly naive and unworldly.

I was definitely thinking of my own child contemplating this prompt. It's so interesting how it sounds derogatory, but this is like the life blood of a story.

There MUST be a Fool, or else nothing happens, and it's usually their innocence that at least inspires how the day gets saved.

I'd have more to say if my first thought wasn't always "God, he's hot" every time I see art you have of him.

I think a lot of people have The Fool being the MC or at least kicking off the story. It's fun to see how much that character type drives narrative.

I think he's a good representation of the upright position. His entire adult life path was one giant leap of "I'll start somewhere VERY NEW! and learn to parent for freedom!" 🧵
