It is very adorable. As Virgil is ace, Lucifer decides that the way he should flirt would be to see in what ways he can short circuit Virgil’s brain.

Finding things that both fluster and annoy him brings Lucifer a lot of joy.

Yes, a combination of teasing and also “I created the stars and their light is my most wonderful creation and the thing that gives me the greatest happiness in all the world.”

So it’s insidiously sweet, but also designed to fluster Virgil. 😆

This is tough. I write a lot of couples (even side characters), but if I had to pick from my MCs, then Daemrin and Lex. Despite starting out in an arranged marriage, they quickly align themselves to each other. Their romance is all about choosing love despite their differences. #DeckTheHalls

Plus, it makes Virgil blush. Which is the main reason why it wins.

Just to fluster him he asks if he should start calling Blake "Sunshine" while he thinks up another nickname.

Virgil suddenly gets protective of the name then. 🤣

“Let there be light” was directed a Lucifer. He is “Lightbringer”.

He made the stars, so it’s very meaningful to him.

It’s also meant to tease Virgil, as he’s a grumpy man who wears black all the time.

So, it’s both. 😆

I finished the Dracula X Renfield book! It's just proofreading left and I'm publishing it.

"Good Boys Don't Howl" is really fun. This one, a man's heart gets ripped out and stomped on and he thanks them for it.

This one fucking hurts...

I definitely overdo it too, but I don't get why everyone panics about it. If you can go the extra mile, great, but as long as it makes it relevant to the text of the post it's fine.

It's about CONTEXT not accuracy.

Yeah, it really feels like people are trying WAY too hard.

Alt Text for the damn Mona Lisa could be "painting where woman smiles oddly." No one expects every color and shape or placement of the hands.

Alt Text isn't meant to make people able to see the image, it's to provide context.

I really like writing the build-up. It seems to be an especially important part of the dance with Daisuke and Obito’s dynamic. Obviously the act itself and aftercare part are, too, but the playfulness and back-and-forth are what ease them both into that vulnerability and headspace
