I'm listening to DJ mixes I recorded when I was in my early twenties and I remember how much I hated listening to them at the time. All I could hear were my mistakes. Now a decade or so later, I'm not so hard on myself. I've heard plenty of worse mixing by now 😁 Track selection is most important.

One movie cliché I don't mind is when a character goes to a gun dealer and the supplier 'shows off the merchandise' one by one giving little quips about each (always bigger than the last) until finally picking the most badass one there is.
