Am always amazed by how little attention the Senior Open gets. Might be my favourite event of the year. Fascinating to see how well these elder statesmen can still play. Proper multi-dimensional golf that puts to shame the crash bang wallop played by so many of the modern elite 🤷‍♂️

I see Jon Rahm thinks Sergio Garcia would make a great Ryder Cup captain. Sometimes you have to wonder about Jon Rahm 😃

Paul McGinley points out there is only a five-shot gap between the leader and the cut-line at the Open. No surprise when just about every player tries to play the game in pretty much the same way. “One-dimensional” comes to mind 🙄

Can’t imagine too many youngsters will be watching the almost immobile pace of play at the Open and thinking “that’s a game I’d like to try.” 🙄

No one English has won the Open since 1992. Harris could break that string this year 😃
