Old time Warhammer-er. But happy to explore. Lots of Nurgle, but with the occasional Ork and other things. Mainly AoS, Warcry, Necromunda and 40K if I can be tempted.

While at WHW Sunday I took a few more pictures of the Ork exhibit, originally done for Imperial Armour 8.
Such a great piece, but it does highlight how many of those FW kits are no longer with us.
You've got to wonder how long it may remain on display in this form.

Mmm, I may drop you a message about where is best to stay.
Would be a good weekend I think, I doubt I'll get to Salute anytime soon as that is a ball ache and costs a fortune, but this looks like a good one to attend.
Looks lovely, armour and cape is cracking.
Hard to beat the look of a brutal looking mace.
That was such a good Codex, fond memories of the Lost and the Damned and Ulthwe Strike Force lists.
I've still got it in a box somewhere.
Will need to have a think then, if i go I'd stay over and do both days. Is it the sort of thing you need to book somewhere close by early for?

Looks like there's an influx of 3D modeling scammers targeting the Warhammer Community.
This guy followed me (& 400 others) and totally looks like seems a scammer. Not 100% sure but I'm 98% sure. Beware.
Yup, I'd have killed for a Macharius in plastic with the different turret options.
How many plastic Marine dreads do we have now? But the Mega-Dredd...no sign.
The fact we haven't got an actual Ork tank, when there were several from FW they could have done in plastic...bloody painful.

Is it worth attending the event hen you aren't entering the competition?
I saw pictures of entries and while I would like to see entries in person next year it seems a bit far to go only for that. Prob worth the trip to meet people though.

Looking at Ork stuff for inspiration for the main weapon on the Gobsmasha.
Doing so reminded me how many FW kits we have lost. Such a shame, added so much to the range both in options and character.
