I didn't intentionally make myself a liberal echo chamber. I just only spend energy on people who, you know, care about people.

One of the tough things about being a SAHM is the isolation: i rarely interact with people outside my circle of support *in person* and there's so little change I can do. I won't convince anyone of changing on social media. But in person, I'm not having conversations with otherwise minded people.

I'm so tired of the anxiety.

Why can "one" person make these rules without the balance and checks happening. We shouldn't have to resort to suing that can take upwards of weeks to block something so OBVIOUSLY ILLEGAL.

Women's march turned into a women's rally because it was frigid. And in South Dakota, that means sub zero windchill.
Still heard some great speakers. Still showed up with our signs (and snow gear in the car, in case anyone changed their minds)
Still was surrounded by great people.

it genuinely sucks that basically nothing on the internet works well anymore. search? barely works. social media? filled with garbage engagement-bait designed to game the algorithm. news websites? pages that refresh at random or so covered in video ads that it’s impossible to read stories

Is there a program out there that can resize a photo, place text and drawings wherever I want on it, and not eat up all my RAM like photoshop does? (Want to work on making a map, eh)
