Disorientingly straightforward. This was the first SC VN I've played where I was consistently 2 steps ahead of the game which was unsatisfying, especially since there are no route diverges aside from the short joke endings. It was ok, but there was no Marco. 😞

Enjoyed the story even though the main character was very insincere. Pickpocketing, the main mechanic, gets very boring since it's never built upon, other than there being a moving npc on rare occasions. Apparently I missed an entire area because I was too good of a person?

Very ehhhhhhhhhh... The items are really boring with how little synergy they have. This spills over into the runs, which quickly turn generic when compared to each other. Strangely the ball physics weren't jank at all and it always went where I thought it would go.

While I didn't like the writing for the most part I DO have to give props to this moment where a character corrects someone's pronoun usage. It always mildly confuses me in narrative-focused games when every character has supernatural clocking ability and knows everyone's pronouns at first sight.

An alright mystery game held back by some very lame writing. In horror games, I want at least the player character to act scared and not to crack jokes that never land. Also the escape rooms are just too short and often only have a single puzzle which seems very wasteful.

Love it when a game focuses on a single mechanic and pushes it to the limit. I'm also a big fan of a game's difficulty increasing not by traditional means, but by making its demands sillier. Too bad the engine often can't keep up with them and it introduces some randomness.
