This single picture tells a visual story of things one might be expecting to read aside from the fact that the colours are so pleasing too and the composition draws your eyes towards different points, but always bacl to the two characters. 💕

A tiefling overlooking a circus she left behind. It was her adoptive home for most of her life but now she's ready to move on after meeting Quill who seems to be connected to her abilities somehow. she's ready to find out where her powers come from and how she became an orphan. The mirror image made of roses is her letting go of life in disillusion of a happy family and the roses blooming in the clouds symbolize the start of her growth

Whenever I show my art to new people I meet they often tell me it would make a really nice book cover art.
So I tried to make something in that theme.

Even if not maliciously done, it so often falls a lot under the "meant well, but please don't" umbrella.
Yes, inspiration is a thing, as well as being influenced by certain styles. But still, a lot of thought goes into creating unique ocs and it's just not cool to hear "oh like xy!"
