In response to The Conversation pieces on forest encroachment and warming of the Great Lakes I asked AI to make a graph comparing av. Jan. temps in Toronto in 1960 and 2020. You can do the comparision. Apparently, some folks can't or won't.

Not an American, but I still blocked all the U.S. government agencies. As I did it one by one, I saw the top few posts of each and it's pure PROPAGANDA! Not a ounce of information. Many posts were blank, as I muted the dictator's name, and it was obviously prominent in every post!

Blue Jays in 30 is the best thing ever.

Numerous trees in varying brilliant shades of red, orange, yellow, and green are reflected in a still lake along with a small white dock.

Drove by this vibrant view earlier and just had to pull over to admire it for a bit.

As L.M. Montgomery wrote, "I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."

Pick, de-stem, and wash the leaves, pat them dry carefully, and fry in oil quite quickly. Coarse salt is my favourite.

Mine too! I have litres of dry sage in the pantry already! On the other hand, my thyme is pitiful though it's new, the previous one haviing died last year. Anyway, for the sage, I take the biggest, most perfect leaves and fry them lightly in oil, then salt them. They eat like chips.
