That was how the series was introduced to me, but it seems the introduction was assuming. When I look it up it seems to be a gray area marketed as Adult Fiction, but with teens as main characters. Nonetheless - it is a very good read!!

I have been listening to "Gideon the Ninth" for the upcoming Larp - I have fallen in love with this book! It is so very well written! I know it is a YA book - but as an avid reader - it hits on everything I love to read! #Gideontheninth #awesomebooks #necromancy #LARP

Finding a local pagan store is a good place to start. Talk to the shop keepers and just start asking questions. Looking at books and seeing what calls to you to flip through is good. The advice already given is awesome too! It is a wonderful journey!!

Oh - that sounds rather nice from this vantage point!! I am sure a happy medium between our worlds would be rather nice too!

I had an art teacher once that showed me that the mundane art, and high classical art were both so needed in our world. She could make high art that could take your breath away, and then turn around and draw a blueberry on a plank of wood to lean against the wall. She lit my creative heart on fire.

They have cooling pillow cases too - so nice to never have a "hot" pillow you have to flip - and it wicks moisture - so droolio sleepers are more comfy too.

That's a good point!! Creativity deserves to thrive in all the spaces!! I am creating a stitch n bitch group with my LARP'ers and am hoping it will grow - we all have projects for our characters. I just hope I can help do the same for other spaces too.

My corner of the world seems to be seeing so many creative witchy sites just fall flat or go silent. The world and the work is still needed, but the silence is ... tangible. Are you all seeing the same? @witchmadness @witchsky

I can so relate!!! I got a cooling blanket (they really do work) and it has helped!! Still though - nothing helps when you have to walk from point A to point B in melting heat...

Birthday shenanigans today were perfect!!!

I am going to be part of a Larp that is playing in and with the world "Gideon the Ninth" in their own interpretation. I have been listening to the first book and enjoying it greatly!

So many memories stored in tiny plastic boxes... Storage unit sorting has me very nostalgic. Helps I don't have to pay for the unit anymore and can just drift in all of kiddos artwork, while firmly being very glad I have such a rich life in the now - I am so very blessed!

I am leaning into my artistic talents. If I have to live with chronic pain - I might as well share what I love with people I enjoy! Hoping to start with small gatherings, stitch and bitches, and then get my twitch set back up and do online stuff too. I'm gonna go out covered in paint and glitter!!

Dipping out for game night online with the kiddos!! Miss their hugs (all are adults and around 1+hours away now) but I love hearing their voices!!

I started a Larp crafty server for my location - stitch n bitches are gonna happen, and we're gonna make some fun things! I have been wanting to start or join something like this for a long time!!

I have to ask for help alot and go really slow - but the room is coming together. I even got my Kamvas 13 set up to my laptop!! It still feels like chaos (unorganized) but I am SO much closer to having a functioning creative space/ office!!! (excited)
