From what I heard steam at least is demanding the removal of any kind of award or guarantee that isn’t backed up by some kind of certification board so unless someone makes a group that scours and certifies games valve at least will reject it

People keep making the mistake of assuming Godot is barely above the level of scratch just because it’s easy to use

Have you heard of slop squatting? Where people use ai to spread fake code libraries that are actually full of malicious code to people who are using LLMs to program with?

I’ve been through much worse than this and have learned the lesson, but yeah as much as my goal isn’t to infuriate people I’ll take that as a win if it’s in response to be being kind and happy

I had some older gamedev go on a tirade and call me worthless because I asked people how they felt about me streaming my progress several months back.

Ending up opting against it due to unrelated noise reasons but yeah… he had way better things he could have been doing
