Gremmy 🔞

When dusk becomes dawn,
Go forth as the slithering plague disappear
And brambles lose their thorns,
Notice as the air is once again clear

But
I won’t let my spirit die
There comes a day, I’ll stop asking “when?”
After the desperation, after the last cry
I’ll look up and breathe again

When summer turns into winter,
For the thousandth time, for the thousandth age
And dark clouds grow thinner
Warm memories will replace the boiling rage

It’s so much more than this feeling
It’s here and there
It’s spreading
It’s everywhere
Scathing and shattering
Like a wave on a rock
Sticking and suffocating
Like the dust in an aftershock

It’s killing me
I said it’s killing me

I can see it, the fall
I can hear it,
Feel it crawl

The sadness, the loneliness
It’s there, it’s present
The voidness, the aloneness
It’s already rampant

The emptiness ?
Call it whatever you want

What hurts, more than the anger
is when I think about
what can't be anymore,
That's when I feel it taking over
an overwhelming wipeout
one I can't ignore,
constant reminder
of the future life without
of what won't be like before
