Knutepunkt 25 is over for this year. I've cried, loved, hugged new&old friends, danced, larped, learned, co-hosted, discussed flagging, been angry at politics & genocide, been a Fairy Godmother & fallen in love with the larp community all over again. And taken way too few pictures, like always.

I thought I knew my IT-stuff, being a PC gamer/nerd since always but Microsofts Office is on another lever of user-friendly-non-complient. I spend significant hours of my workday looking for solutions +emailing the IT-support. Result: tired and still without functioning software.

Been thinking a lot of what "family" means lately. Usually I say "I have a great chosen family" and "my mom and I are the only two blood family left alive". But yesterday my biological dad sent me a text saying my cousin was traveling in Sweden and wanted to meet up. Wait what, I have a cousin?

Ah! Smart! I have spikes though since I live in a climate and drive to places where it's safer to use spikes despite the negative environmental impacts. I'll think I'll have to compensate by not changing the time on the old car stereo. 🤣

Last week of this two month Scrum Master course. The material is super interesting, a lot of what I've already done for years but didn't know the techniques actually had a name. Sadly, the school is awful. Tomorrow, I'll lead the team in our last retrospective which reminded me of this old quote:

It's not even midnight and there's only one item left on my todolist for today? What?? OK, it's a big task I've been avoiding since September but still? And that has progressively gotten harder to achieve for each passing day I've been avoiding it? Yeah. That task.

Wanting to reply "got a shit lot done on my todolist today and held two great meetings" but stopping myself to actually think about it.

And once again I'm put in the position of needing to choose between 1. Learning for life+future possible job or 2. Learning to pass the course and please teachers. Doing both is impossible within the time frame. Worst scrum master course ever?
