Secure Randomness in Go 1.22 - The Go Programming Language ChaCha8Rand is a new cryptographically secure pseudorandom number generator used in Go 1.22.

In Go 1.22 we fixed a common security footgun by replacing the math/rand[/v2] default generator with a new secure one based on ChaCha8.
