So I need some help from some comic artist and character designers. So I have this comic called the ones like him. The MCs original design is very detailed and not easy to draw for a comic over and over, so I redesigned him. But no matter what I do I hate it and the original looks better. Help meeee

I have awful news; my external hard drive went kaput about two days ago. I've attempted some small things to recover the data but it seems it and its contents are lost. I have a smaller archive of my art elsewhere but some projects I was working on and original files are fully lost.
