In September I had a tonsillar abscess that my primary doctor missed as just a sore throat. I got sicker and had to go to the ER. There for 4 hours I received fluids, an MRI, and antibiotics. The bill arrived a couple of weeks ago $10,000. Even with insurance, I owe almost $4,000 out of pocket.😪
