As an Arizona native I've done all sorts of outdoor activities my entire life including authoring a hiking book. However, since 2005 I've focused mainly on nature and landscape photography of the American southwest, especially the Grand Canyon State.

Canyon of the Waterfalls in the Superstition Mts. of southern Arizona (the actual drainage is Weekes Wash). This area is often dry but after a good rain the falls really put on a show.

I'm brand new to BlueSky, so for my first few posts I'm just going to toss up a dozen landscape photos taken around the American southwest over the past 20 years. Stay tuned for more!
