I’m not an attorney, but I’m married to one of the best, so I know just enough to be dangerous.

The petty, wannabe dictator is trying to become a king large act the expense of Black communities, particularly regarding the attack on voting rights and mid decade redistricting. So when we say #NoKings, we must explicitly include these issues.

We need more people talking about this case and sounding the alarm about the potential killing of the voting rights act.

A common tactic used to dilute Black voting power is finding an extra candidate to enter a two way race to split the Black vote. #RankedChoiceVoting actually provides a solution to such intentional vote splitting. @blackvotersmatterfund.org @fairvote.bsky.social @rankthevoteusa.bsky.social

Talked election reforms during #CBCweek; and shared space w/ some amazing panelists. In the spirit of Lani Guinier, one of the reforms we discussed is proportional representation. But as I mention below, our communities need to see examples of how these reforms work. @blackvotersmatterfund.org
