I think anywhere between 10th and 6th would be achievable and realistic. I don't think we're anywhere near as bad as some are claiming, but the leagues got tougher this year, so it'll be difficult. But I think we can have a go at playoffs for sure

We played better than the previous two friendlies. The system was different, going with a 442 offering Heggebø more support up top rather than being isolated in a 4231 like he was against Lincoln. Defensively, I thought we were okay tbh. And the Hawthorns definitely looks a lot better now

Definitely need a keeper. I'm happy with Griffiths, he's young and I think he'll improve. Wildsmith, on the other hand, is unlikely to improve further. Seeing as our 3rd choice will likely be another academy player, a more experienced option would be great for Griffiths/Wallis/Cisse to learn from

Another thing, Bartley acting the way he did after full time and getting himself suspended did slightly ruin what was a good day. Whilst Molumby's actions lead to that, Bartley, our captain and one of our most experienced players, should know better than to hit someone in the face.

Brilliant game yesterday. Thoroughly deserved the win, which should have been wrapped up a long time before the 96th minute. Fellows and Johnston were brilliant again. Impressive debuts for Armstrong and Lankshear. Wildsmith looked decent in his first league start. Also, what a photo 😍

The best two matches I've been to this season have both been against Portsmouth 🤣. But seriously, what a performance. As poor as Portsmouth were (and they made it very easy for us) we kept attacking and always tried to be positive when we had the ball. Brilliant game

Yeah that's pretty much how I was. I liked football and Albion as a young kid, but it was more of a casual interest until I was around 10 or 11 which was when I became a lot more invested in Albion and the sport as a whole.

On a serious note though, I'm too young to properly remember Mowbrays first stint at the club. I'm not expecting the same success this time round, but I am still very excited by the appointment.

Some brilliant individual performances in those games too. Kyle Bartley is just immense at the back, and I feel he's one who neutrals fans often underrate. Ousmane Diakite, bar one error against Sheffield United, looks superb. Which begs the question of why Corberan wasn't willing to play him more?

3 games since Corberan's departure. 2 of those seeing us put in very strong performances, resulting in us climbing back into the top 6. I'll admit I thought we'd struggle without him, and while it probably is too early to truly tell, the signs are there that we can really kick on this season.
