13.02.2026 20:59 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0That's interesting. At my first Medicare appointment last year, they didn't do that. I'll have to see if they do it at my annual one in 2 months. Doc should, I suppose, if alzheimers/dementia is inheritable. My mom and my aunt had those. He was their doctor and I was the medical POA for both.

13.02.2026 02:14 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I have tried all the things and there are only three or 4 that I never willingly choose at this point in my life. Liver, coconut, snails, raw oysters come to mind.
13.02.2026 02:11 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I want to knit the resistance hat. Found a red enough yarn in my stash and the right needles. I tried to cast on. I seem to have forgotten how and didn't have the patience to watch a cast on video. At some point, I'll get over myself, probably in time for a wool hat summer!

They often forget those of us just slightly away from the city proper. I'm 45 mi away and it is often a completely different weather pattern. This one will be part of the current predictions for DC, most probably, based on some more closely local predictions. I understand your upset completely.
