The public schools were Elementary K-6; Junior High 7-9; High School 10 - 12.

The public schools changed as years went by and are Elementary K-5; Middle 6 - 8; High School 9 - 12.

I'm older and I went to Catholic Schools.

K: public, 1/2 day
1-8: Elementary, 1-6 one classroom all day, on the main floor; 7th and 8th on a different floor on a lower floor and operated like a junior high with students moving between four classrooms.
9 - 12: High School

The worst for me is the coconut. It's a texture thing. Though there are only three that I would pick out of that bunch.

That's interesting. At my first Medicare appointment last year, they didn't do that. I'll have to see if they do it at my annual one in 2 months. Doc should, I suppose, if alzheimers/dementia is inheritable. My mom and my aunt had those. He was their doctor and I was the medical POA for both.

I see a few more that I will eat if they are in a cooked dish but wouldn't eat them on their own - avocado, Bleu cheese, tofu.

I have tried all the things and there are only three or 4 that I never willingly choose at this point in my life. Liver, coconut, snails, raw oysters come to mind.

I want to knit the resistance hat. Found a red enough yarn in my stash and the right needles. I tried to cast on. I seem to have forgotten how and didn't have the patience to watch a cast on video. At some point, I'll get over myself, probably in time for a wool hat summer!

I always called it pixie dust. Someone would call me to help them with a problem and, about 50% of the time, just walking in their office fixed it! 😉

Yeah, one of my English classes was all about movies. 😁

They often forget those of us just slightly away from the city proper. I'm 45 mi away and it is often a completely different weather pattern. This one will be part of the current predictions for DC, most probably, based on some more closely local predictions. I understand your upset completely.

I did that at my job many years ago. Nobody believed me about how cold it was. Little stick on things in a variety of locations. it was cold!

I think some brander with a juvenile mind some how hlgot it past the old school execs! 😁

It makes me want to avoid a road trip through those 6 states with no stops shown (except at the edges of other states perhaps?) I NEED rest stops on a road trip!

I'm on the no raw onions ever train and also on the "only some cooked onions" (like if they are a very small percentage of the ingredients and are well cooked!)

I'm so sorry. Sending light and love. I know you know, but grief is a process, and quite frankly it may ebb over the years, but I find it pops up unexpectedly at times. Allow yourself to feel all the feels.

Mine as well. Maternal Grandfather 1964 or 65; Paternal Grandfather 1970; grandmothers in 1980 and 1984. Though I can still remember their houses! 😁

My Mom used to send these gifts to me and my siblings each year. Hoping my son remembers that from his boyhood!
