That said, I haven’t seen any of this drama. :)

Ratings are so subjective. Everyone has different expectations for what they will get out of something. I tend to soft ball on ratings for most things because my general criteria is ‘was I entertained successfully?’ And if the answer is yes, then it’s probably at least an 8 for me.

I think the hallmark of every 2ML, especially in a second ml syndrome scenario, is that the guy is just completely passive about his feelings for the FL. I think You’re Beautiful is a perfect example of this. He spends so much time just waiting for her to discover him. Meanwhile, ML is on it.

Driving around in NoVA right now is an interesting glimpse into the many times VDOT just said ‘you know what? fuck it’ while plowing for the last storm.
