For a team with no other tangible offers in place from other local governments, and a site that was a potential gold mine for DC but will now be in Commanders owner Josh Harris's control on a 90-year sweetheart lease, $6.6B is a pretty incredible get.

They approved Ranked Choice Voting, however, initiative 83 was a 2 part initiative. Now we just need them to vote yes to fund allowing independents to vote in the primary election.

Interesting: Interesting: The @homesnotstadiums.bsky.social campaign (which wants to stop a Commanders stadium at RFK) has filed a complaint with D.C.'s ethics board saying the team engaged in undisclosed lobbying. The team only filed its lobbying registration earlier this month.

Trump should kill Commanders stadium deal, but not because of the team's name If Trump kills the deal over the team changing its name, he'd be doing the right thing but in perhaps the most corrupt possible way.
