The bright lights of summer
Hibiscus moscheutos - perennial hibiscus also known as Rose Mallow. Just starting to flower and setting flowers to dinner plate size from summer through to autumn. Goes completely to the ground for winter and then flowering at 150cm

I cut it back after each flush of flowers and it appears to work. I find it can become woody if not clipped regularly

‘Sharing Your Passion’
One of the greatest pleasures of developing a large garden with a collection of rare and different plants, is sharing it with others. Our old garden was open to visitors 8 months of the year. It allowed viewing through the seasons and the life cycle of plants. #gardening
