The disappearing diversity programs at Johns Hopkins University Under Donald Trump, Johns Hopkins University has changed policies and scaled back its diversity office.

At Johns Hopkins, a once-robust diversity officeΒ has quietly withered,Β shrinking from 14 staffers to three, pausing programs for underrepresented scholars andΒ restricting race-based initiatives on campus. The disappearing diversity programs at Hopkins:

Gotta say it's mindblowing to me that the Brown shooter is still at large and they don't even seem to have identified who they're looking for.

Too many of us have had the experience of our employer, or educational institution writing, texting and calling to say that a shooter is among us, run to safety, barricade the door. And if that’s doesn’t work, fight like your life depends on it. Too many of us have received this message.

Why a College Fighting for Survival Is Slashing Econ and Physics Majors At Albright in Pennsylvania, the new president is cutting programs, selling art and real estate, and vowing not to hire anyone with tenure. Is this the way forward for liberal arts colleges?

For a couple of years now, I've been fascinated with what's happening at small liberal arts colleges, which are running out of money for reasons unrelated to Trump funding cuts. Businessweek let me go deep on the problems, and one college that's trying to blaze a new trail.

The most embarrassing thing about me is I love academia despite its toxicity. For years I’ve been unable to recommend it as a career path. But today as more institutions are relinquishing what ever made these institutions worthwhile I am not sure the enterprise as a whole will last much longer.

Digging into the data of what's taking place with Black women unemployment and this graph is pretty damning.

You can see the EXACT month Black women's unemployment begins to splinter and that what hit us FIRST is now coming for all other women. This is #TheDoubleTax.

I honestly don’t understand why those people thought condemning socialism was job 1 today. This is the problem most in need of solving? Really?
