Even to my 5500~ followers on Twitter, me talking about TF2 got me 4 likes, but not a single comment. If it isn't about art, it is usually quiet.

I have never found any success in talking about other things before. It is usually just met with silence. The things I like tends to be very niche and I am in my 30's now, so the animes and games I like tends to be in the past (like TF2) and hardly relevant today with the constant new releases.

Been great for my mental.
That being said though, I still have a Patreon I have to keep up with to some extent. While my Patreon page itself hasn't seen any updates in a while, nor my social media pages, I do post new stuff in my Discord server every now and then, both Patreon and Public channels.

The way I draw nowadays is probably how I prefer drawing. Art that I draw not because I am trying to chase a trend or grow a following, but art I draw because I want to for fun.

Lately I have just been chilling playing games, drawing when I feel, trying to be more outside, and working at a store.

Duolingo is kinda weird in its priority when it comes to Japanese. It doesn't seem to prioritize pushing you to learn the letters first (Hiragana and Katakana), which I honestly think should be the #1 priority before doing anything else. I did it because it made the most logical sense to me.

Ah, I see. Noted~ I am not familiar with the terminology, since I am really just studying the Hiragana and Katakana atm (and a tiiiiiny bit of Kanji out of curiosity), but thank you for the tips! 😄

"め" (me) tends to trip me up a lot still though... Idk why that one is so hard to remember, lol.

わ (wa), れ (re), ね (ne), さ (sa), ち (chi) and ら (ra) used to trip me up a lot in the beginning, but I got them down pretty confidently now.

"oshiri to oppai"

Why "oshiri" of all Kanji? I was really just reading my silly Discord status message that says "お尻とおっぱい" ("Butts and boobs" lmao) when I got curious about about the deeper meaning of the Kanji I used. 😆

The 尻 (shiri) in お尻 (oshiri / Butt) is spelled as しり (shi ri), but it is pronounced as just "し" (shi) when used to spell 尻尾 (shippo / tail).

The 尾 (po / ぽ) replaces the り (ri) in 尻 (shiri) with っ (small tsu) to spell "しっぽ" (shippo)

(Again, if I understood correctly)

I have gotten a very solid grasp on reading Hiragana and am working on learning the Katakana, but good lord Kanji is a whole different beast. Japanese is gonna be a lot more complicated than I thought if I understand this correctly...
