We're burning more fossil fuels and releasing more fossil fuel CO₂ than ever. Despite what people had hoped, anthropogenic CO₂ emissions have not peaked.

To stay below +1.5°C of global warming, we're supposed to cut emissions by 50% by 2030. 🥲

My dream scenario is a new Federation made of blue states, where TRUTH is an actual thing, where felons are barred from office forever, and an equitable Constitution means something.

I may not live to see the dream fulfilled, but I will continue to fight for future generations. WE HAVE TO.
