Wasn't there when I last went! But maybe that was 10 years ago thinking about it

Trump is taking America back to the dark ages. And that fool Robert Kennedy Jr is a danger to the health of the nation.
The man is an idiot.
Vintage YSL flares wow..!
Honestly I used to get so much stuff I started selling stuff to my mates in Manchester. Then I opened a stall I had that much stuff.
Then there were the jumble sales..
Elbowed by the grannies

Love Jefferson Airplane. Love them!
This may or may not be a question to discuss. Probably not among the music folk that I'm largely on here to engage with but a certain percentage will have an opinion.
When did the Labour party become so right wing? What on earth is going on?
I didn't vote them in myself, the wife did.
Thoughts?
Fairport Convention LPs ? Oh yeah I might like them. Never heard but some connection to Pentangle, oh right there's a Pentangle LP too! God knows what I left behind.
I do realise I'm talking to myself here!
But that was more of a raised eyebrow seeing Robert Plant, would never have bothered the guy.
Anyway I was more concerned with raiding the charity shops, absolute goldmine back then. 60s crew neck M&S St.Michael jumpers 6 turtle necks in every colourway ยฃ1.25, Levi cord flares ยฃ2.25, Suede Jtks ยฃ4
I used to see Robert Plant walking about in Ludlow, Shropshire when I was about 17 or 18. Or I did once or twice.
My brother claimed he went to see his band playing in a pub. Or happened to be there anyway more likely.
Anyway back to Terry Reid, I only know his first LP really to be honest.
God yeah it must have been Nick.
06.08.2025 22:18 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Glynn & Richard from Alpinestars, I knew the guys from playing in bands in Manchester prior to them starting out under that name. I remember Glynn's band Starseed well but I don't remember The Rank Outsiders. And is that Richard in the band too? Anyway RIP Glynn Thomas. Gone but not forgotten.
06.08.2025 22:08 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Can't remember the story but he was in line for the Zep singer job wasn't he?
I became aware of him from his Donovan cover "Supergirl", like quite a few people I reckon. I had his first LP on original but cashed it in years ago but still got the budget label reissue. Good stuff indeed.
RIP Terry
