5/6 Hawai’i S.R. 7 is a resolution reinforcing that hospitals are required to provide pregnant people with emergency care, including abortion, as required by federal law OR the federal Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA). This resolution was introduced and sent to the HSS committee!

4/6 New Mexico S.B. 30 would repeal the state’s mandatory abortion reporting requirement. This bill has passed both the state Senate and House and if enacted it will take effect on May 20, 2026.
