I've met more people who played (or apparently watched someone play) mother 3 and haven't played 2 and it makes me cry a little inside

earthbound is one of those overplayed, overhyped and oversaturated classics that you play and realise it's actually underrated

While not exact, I definitely have faced people I wanted to reconcile with, and was met with pushback. It is unfortunate but to move on with life it's best not to dwell on things that are out of your control. All you can do for people wanting out of your life is wish them well.
