Past me was stupid, this album is incredible

Don't really know what to say about this one other than it's really fucking good and I highly recommend it

Found this band through Sonic the Hedgehog of all things, and I'm glad I did. There's something oddly hilarious about the vocalist going from beautiful angel to screaming goblin in a single breath.

2025 album 5: Rivers of Nihil "Rivers of Nihil" (2025)
Fuck this album is heavy, but it also has moments of incredible beauty.
If I had any doubts about the new lineup, I definitely don't anymore.
2025 album 4: Chevelle "Bright as Blasphemy" (2025)
Their shortest album yet; the whole thing seems very angry, even in the slower songs. I'm a little disappointed they didn't continue with the sound they were building with NIRATIAS, but there were some great heavy riffs on this record.
