Next Wednesday, I'm going to drop an appendix of sorts as an extension of Sugar Crash. I'm not entirely sure what it will entail, but it will discuss draft versions, edits, POV choices/changes, personal and impersonal influences, how comments shifted the fic during posting, etc etc. I've been so lucky to have two excellent betas who dig into the weeds with me on nearly every word l've written and an extremely long-suffering roommate who listens to me yap damn near consistently. I've also been super lucky to *be* a beta reader for numerous people. And I think what gets lost is just how much work goes into creating a story. I will never claim to be an expert, nor will I hold myself in high esteem. I just want ppl to see that...sometimes... writers really dig through multiple layers of mud to finally find a finished product. And I just think it might be kinda fun to share the mud pies I made for this one.

Now that sugar crash is over, I’m going to post something entirely self-indulgent onto AO3 that I hope might be fun for readers and other writers…
