Finally ventured over to check out the new section of the North South Bikeway. New bridge connects to a section paralleling the SMART tracks. Beautiful crisp day after some significant rain. Sometimes, y'just gotta push the pedals for a bit. #dawes #errandloop #fixedgear #mcbc

Have I mentioned that one of my bikes has a three-speed derailer* system? Continuous loop cable for shifting control. Around 9 decades old and shifts quite smoothly.

Pause mid-errand to snap a photo. A bit chagrined when I look at that nearly worn through shoe. I can't seem to find a true burgundy pair of Chuck Taylors any longer. Ordered custom that turned out to be "dark red." They are nice. But different...
