Freedom doesn’t mean much if you can’t afford to get sick, can’t send your kid to school with food, or can’t take a day off without risking your job. Feels like we traded actual freedom for something way cheaper.

The obsession with “innovation” gave us a chatbot that deletes codebases and lies about it. Meanwhile, Gaza is starving. The future isn’t going to be AI-driven or efficient or even survivable if this is the direction we’re letting it go.

Eric said if you want to build a separatist village and reject people based on who they are, then you should also give up the benefits they helped create. You don’t get to keep the medicine, tech, or comforts and pretend they came from just one kind of person.
