Hearing about #kodak potentially going bankrupt is really sad. This is really bad for #film photography. At least in the short term

Companies like #harmon are still innovating and doing well as far as I know, but I wonder if this will tank the domestic market. #Fuji400 feels like it 2xd overnight.

A prominence rises above a black forested mountainside where viens of black and white ice run in its wrinkles, highlighting where ice degrades the mountain down into grey gravel and stone. Above a sky white and bright blanketed by the puffyiest of clouds.

This is one of my current wallpapers shot in #film #rolleiinfrared with a red filter. I definitely fell in love with the insane contrast. I look forward to doing more work in it.

I took the train back home, and on the way through #Montana I watched thunderstorms roll over decaying houses and barns. It was haunting and gorgeous.

The hint of a snow capped mountain dips into a cloud shaded valley of green firs. Behind the first another prominent peaks out with a ridge of sharp grey rock. Mirroring the ridgeline in front it slopes left to another small peak before dropping off frame. Below and to the right of the center peak is a gap of sunlit grass and occasional firs that dot the mountainsides. The sky is bright and hazy blue with a few tuffs of clouds.

Got half of my film back as scans and I'm glad I didn't get everything scanned.

Might need to start using a tripod for normal shutter speeds like 1/60-1/125, most of these ended up being blurry when you zoom in.

Just got back a batch of 120 #film back in the mail from the pnw. I should've planned and built a scanning setup by now.

Now I really want to go back. Ah man.

Time to go down the YouTube DSLR scanning rabbit hole, again.

A concrete path lightly covered on both ends by red-brown fallen moss and fir leaves rises and curves over a bend, guided by a rough, thick, grey wooden fence that seperates it from a small clearing of grass. The path runs under the shadow of several firs that tower above on the right and the forest runs from the middle of the left side of the frame in the distance, leading down into an unseen valley before rising again to the foot of a tiny rocky outcrop before a gain snow capped rounded mountain. The divit of Mt Rainers ancient caldera is visible in the light hazy of the blue sky of a golden afternoon. A large cloud floats off to the left, light and dreamy.

I can't wait for the film to come back from this trip. I really would have been okay to stay longer. I couldn't walk very far from the car because I fell on a trail the first day and hurt my leg. I also wasn't able to visit Sunrise as it wasnt open yet.

The snow capped rocky summit of Mt Rainier stands behind a line of foreground firs that dope to show the valley and rolling mountainside below a scarf of clouds around the snowline. The sky is darkened dispite being in the dead of day because this photo was shot in light hight than 850nm, primarly the near infrared, leaving dramatic black, grays and whites.

Don't get me wrong, the light's gorgeous, but it's pretty soft and my car photobombed this frame hidden by the flare. The 7 sided flares are throwing me for a loop too 35-75 Nikkor 3.5 Macro on the Canon is knda nuts. Wdyt?

Just got back from a month long trip to the #PNW Went to Seattle and Mnt Rainer. Didn't get to spend as much time as I would've liked in the city or park, but I shot a ton of 120, with some digital safeties with the Sony A7r2 (looking really good) and a ton of infrared ofc. Really excited to share!

I stayed at the #NoKings protest in #tacoma for about 2 hours doing laps of people's park with and through the crowd. It got crowded by 1 and thinned down by 2 when I left.

May or may not have gone to a No Kings day protest. Not sure what to post yet. Everything I have right now is in color infrared and I shot 6 rolls of Fuji 400 in a 35mm point and shoot.

I'll probably be very picky about what I post for privacy and ethical reasons. About 100 picks though out of 1k+

A bright yellow sunflower stands out from unreal green leaves. A hairy center of baby seeds sits in the center and burns the golden yellow brown. Another flower stands above and in the corner.

When I thought of #Vibrant, these shades of #yellow, #green, #gold and #brown are what popped in my head.

The palate of dandelions in the grass or a sunflower in the overbearing sunshine.

I think #pixelfed has the Instagram problem where if you post a photo without a white border it crops it wonky to work on a screen.
I wanted to avoid the white border. I know should just do it, but it really seems like they should have this figure out if I don't want to have a white or black border

It caught me by surprised, my first time seeing the lights.
