Desert Dweller

Some beautiful Agave utahensis I saw on a hike this evening. Probably some of the most gorgeous specimens I’ve ever seen.

I think my least favorite thing about social media is people assuming I’m being intellectually dishonest just because other people tend to be. I’m willing to talk and discuss, but apparently that seems to be unpopular.

Could you elaborate? Most people in positions to speak to the masses can be defined as “self-aggrandizing” because they wield the platform from which they stand. It clearly was inspiring to many, even if you disagree with it.

But it wouldn’t have made an impression on anyone else. It’s inspiring to see people publicly uphold ideas such as mercy and mention them to those who wield power. She didn’t ask him to not do what he wants to do, she asked him simply to be merciful to those who are in fear.
