Yeah, you’re good! When you quote text, the one change pretty much everyone agrees you can make is lowercasing things that are only capped because they start a sentence. And yes, the question mark goes outside the quotes here.

Other things this guy does not understand include but are not limited to:
1. How to format an email.
2. “I’m pretty active on LinkedIn” is not a brag.
3. Shutting up is free.

Invariably the people who email about stuff like this are also people who don’t understand things like the headline includes first- and third-person (not “party”) pronouns because the pronouns refer to different people, and that second-person pronouns would make it a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure novel.
