They decided to occupy your city
They decided to bomb your home
They decided to come to your land
It was not obligatory, they have a choice

Now your country is in a war for more than 10 years, still trying its best to survive
Everyday you see a lot of horrifying news about deaths and losses, about people who lost their home, about cities that are destroyed
Air raid sirens — it’s something that you already used to hear

Let me explain it to you quickly
You are living your life in a country that trying its best to become a country of freedom, to become a true European country, not only by territorial location, but also by law and standards of the EU
And then one day another country brutally invading yours

With all due respect to Misha for everything he does to help Ukraine, I can’t agree with him on this point.
Putin is not the only one responsible for the war.
To me, it sounds like saying, ‘Oh, I don’t hate the Nazis, I just hate Hitler,’ during WW2”

The girls sang together for the first time at the funeral of Cheka (Iryna Tsybukh, a Ukrainian journalist, servicewoman, and paramedic who served with the Hospitallers). That’s where the idea was born — to revive and keep alive unique Ukrainian folk songs.
