Stock Debian is so good. I don’t know why more people don’t give it a go. These days the installer makes it just as easy to use as Ubuntu and other popular Debian derivatives.

For gaming, Arch is probably better, but I love stock Debian for how stable and universal it is. The Debian installer lets you choose from a wide range of desktop environments which is pretty neat.
