Surrey school district is growing by over 2,000 students a year. These kids kids need more of everything: schools, teachers, inclusive education support workers, school psychologists, speech & language pathologists. Talk is cheap; an excellent public education system is not.

Hello Womble—reading Girlfriend on Mars by Deborah Willis.

“Say Nothing” by Patrick Radden Keefe is the best book I’ve read on the Troubles in Northern Ireland, and the TV dramatization (of the same name) is also excellent.

What would that apology entail? “I never would have done it if I’d thought it would immediately blow up in my face!”

Hateful nonsense I saw today from friends teaching in local public schools: police called to one school because of presentations by a trans teacher, and another school messaged about “18 students who identify as animals (furries)”, and a “next course of action” to protect kids. #bced

Love the show and the pro-cat material. But could you please find a non-Uber sponsor? I hear Fresh Slice is looking to expand into the BC political junkie market…
