Sketchpage β A page of sketches and drawings of my new sona I haven't formally introduced. He's based off of a Panda Shepherd! Here's a bit of trivia: A Panda Shepherd is a purebred German Shepherd with a rare genetic mutation causing a piebald coat, which is approximately 35% white and the rest black and tan. I felt such a strong connection with the concept because pandas and dogs are such a big part of me β pandas especially, because you know. That's where it started. πΌ I hope ya'll like himb π§‘

Sabertooth tiger crouching, prowling, at the edge of a building or structure. Oh man, not often do i get to experiment on a commission piece. The brief was basically one of those moody stand on edge of a building type poses ie batman, spiderman, spawn etc. And not to be completely edgy i went more for a predator vibe. My focus was to do a clear silhouette and a bright expression, as well as using noise to add shadows, for vibes. The stripes and other black surfaces i wanted to manually fill in with vertical lines. The anatomy and shapes are more angular, and there is a dynamic between bulky and slender, round and sharp, all over the figure. The face and hands are meant to carry this piece. The background i wasn't sure what to do with, but i did want that comic book feeling of it and to simulate a traditional noisy print or airbrushing. Overall very inspiring piece to me, that i might dabble with this kind of rendering in the future.

Painted headshot of my dragon sona, but changed into a werewolf. He is very fluffy, with big neck fluff, and is looking sideways with a happy expression, tongue lolling out and drooling like a playful dog.
Same as previous picture : painted headshot of my dragon sona as a werewolf, but this time, looking at the viewer and proudly doing a "arf!" sound with a big smile.
