They've caved to the puritanical right (HARD!) and I don't want to engage. Hopefully next time people will get smart and move to the fediverse (like mastodon, where if you don't like the rules you can just make your own version and still see and interact with the other versions!)

This is a great, well articulated explanation of why art shouldn't be censored (at all).

I'll go one step further. You don't get to show up somewhere and dictate that space is now only for SFW stuff when it was built by the NSFW crowd. I'll be limiting my time on BSky once the censorship starts.

Not because they literally can't, just they don't want to put in the effort. They don't want to take any risks. And they get so mad when they see that other people have (and furthermore other people have succeeded).

It validates the messed up idea that they have that the only reason they don't create something is because they "wouldn't want to make something as bad as HB/HH". But the truth is they are just unable to create something at all.

The answer to this is that they hate themselves for not creating anything so they have to tear down what others create.

The best part about this is actually that I get to see my LVLUP friends showing each other love. Stumbling into this fandom has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me and this right here is why!
