I finally saw K-Pop Demon Hunters this weekend. I was not disappointed! It was a fun movie with wit, action, catchy music - while really being about music and emotion, and how they intertwine on personal and society levels (and not being afraid to put in subtle comments on the pop music industry).

The situation at the immigration detention center known as “Alligator Alcatraz” has gotten so bad that detainees have been on a hunger strike for over ten straight days.

Not yet published, no kids yet (but want) and I’m the primary earner. This does not bode well for any future plans.

Well, I was going to write, but instead I ended up taking longer than I’d hoped** packing up for a weekend trip to go to Red Faire and visit with a Smithie friend (**maybe not longer than expected, given I had to find a bunch of my old garb.)

I’m familiar. The tone is different between those and Expedition 33.

It is not grimdark. There are some major themes of loss and grief in the game, however.

A ton of minor revisions done in my original WIP thus afternoon, and a chapter of fic posted this evening. I wanted to write more but I just caught myself falling asleep at the keyboard, so I’ll take what I’ve got for the day. #amWriting
