Visited the Rose Wylie exhibition at the RA yesterday, and was enraptured. The work is what this world of AI needs: handmade, painted from memory with thick textured oil paint, full of mistakes glued and painted over. Rose gets the work done. Her aim isn't realism or perfection.

#NowWatching Jericho Ridge (D:William Gilbey, 2023)
"Will Gilbeyβ€˜s directorial debut doesn’t stray far from John Carpenter’s template of a contemporised siege western, but hits every beat of this taut chamber piece with economic precision."
