Good decision, IMO. Plus, I would say that for every big Nintendo game you can find a pretty good indie match for that genre, so if its looking for that kind of experience one can have good options. The only way Nintendo would ever think of reconsider current strategy is by hurting its income.

Sadly its just the last of the big gaming companies falling into the hands of witless businessmen that time and time again just ruin companies for short-term profits. It's been cooking for years for Nintendo, but they have more enduring IPs and used to have good PR. Not anymore, though.

Wanted to do a 'casual latex' picture and this is the best I was able to do within a reasonable timeframe. I might work on this idea again in the future, but for now here it is!
