I had this same experience and I’m sitting in the hospital with my brother as we speak. He got the flu and it turned into sepsis!!

I’m currently in the ICU with my brother from it, it’s crazy!!!

Sports clearly not for you, then! This formula has existed in every televised sport. Football. Basketball. Baseball. Tennis. Any fringe sport. There will never NOT be a celebrity cutaway. If that’s enough to impact your experience, maybe consider switching up the hobbies!

Except this has existed since the dawn of sports tv! Think Jack Nicholson Lakers, Spike Lee Knicks, etc. It’s sports television 101, friend! Go back to Olympic coverage and it’s nonstop cutaways to every celebrity or big name in the stands. Don’t remember much grumbling then…

Hi friend! Former sports tv producer here and I have to tell you it sounds like you are new to sports! If there is a celebrity, coach, athlete, president…they’ll be cut to. If that’s enough to disturb your experience…maybe sports are not for you? Think Olympics…did those cutaways to Snoop bug you?
