On way back from the emirates. Obviously pleased with the win but pretty concerned (again) with our lack of ability to control a game. Big concerns with our technical ability but a win is a win.

Well…that is about as perfect a CL draw as we could have wished for. Never easy but for City, Liverpool and Chelsea - it is much harder.

This is exactly why we bought Gyokores. To score against these terrible bottom of the league teams. #Arsenal

This has been very obvious to the “eye test” - the bit I struggle to work out is how/why this has happened. We’ve had players come back from injury since too. Either it’s fitness or mentality (or a bit of both).

Time to reset. We’ve thrown our away our lead but we *still* have a PL title in our hands. We now go head to head v City every week to see who is better. I’m not confident based on recent form but you’d probably have taken this at the start of the season.

Usually at this point after Arsenal drop points I start finding positives for the next game. Instead I find myself finding even more negatives….urgh

It’s pretty mental that come February in a title race, we are experimenting with our best players position because we don’t know how to create chances. 5 months of poor performances are costing us points now.

I’m so confused how though? We used to be excellent at it.

That is a disaster. I’m not sure we come back from there.

Half the team are trying to get a 3rd and the other half are trying to keep the ball. It’s a mess.

I don’t think you can underestimate how huge that Hincapie goal is - given how poor we looked and the context of our last few away games.

Mansfield away - away draw is always a bit tricky but about as ideal as you could get after Brighton A in midweek and an away CL game right after.

This Arsenal starting XI has the potential to be a lot of fun to watch. Still feel MLS is massively under utilised even at RB.

Think the reason most of us here are so nervous is we don’t have a single attacker on form who looks capable of dragging us over the line. Every game is a gamble that one of them steps up rather than an expectation. #Arsenal

We did the hard part with a moment of quality from Madueke and then went missing. I hate doing this but it just feels like in these big moments when things aren’t going our way, we don’t have the mentality to turn it around.

The draw is in itself fine but that performance was very concerning. Deserved to lose that game and we had no response to when they raised their level. Not what PL winning teams do. So many players disappeared when they equalised and Arteta was clueless to turn it around.

Calling it now - if we beat Brentford A - we win the league.

Doing what we need to do.

Just remember - Gary Neville called this Chelsea performance “a Mourinho masterclass”

Honestly the highlight of that dreadful first half was when Madueke tried to play football in his socks.

This has been a top top performance against a usually excellent Leeds side.

I hate to break it to you but “attacking best” is a very low bar this season. And that Spurs team were terrible

Those two yes. I just haven’t seen anything good happen whenever we leave Odegaard out of the side or take him off

The only positive here is that has come early enough into the run-in where we can course correct and reset our attack.

My biggest criticism of Arteta is that we still haven’t figured out how to throw the kitchen sink at opponents. It’s always very controlled and risk-assessed - and it saps the energy out of crowds.
