Before our meet up, I called into Sounds of the Universe and picked up a copy of Desmond Dekker’s masterly 1968 side “Fu Manchu” ,one of my favourites. He played it on the next show, adding that he enjoyed the meet up. I loved it that sharing tunes can be more thrilling than discovering yourself 2/3

Back in 2016, I met up with @petepaphides.bsky.social following online chats about music and his weekly radio show on Soho Radio. I was in a weird place and off work for a few weeks, so the meet up was a real boon. 1/3
